Venice Private Transfers Boat Transfers include one piece of luggage per person with a €3 charge for each additional piece paid directly to the assistant. An additional 25 percent is added for transfers from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. A total of €40 will be added to cost of arrivals delayed more than 45 minutes at the train station or Piazzale Roma. No charge is applied for delayed original flights. Please note that in the event of weather or strong tides, clients may not be unable to access the dock closest to their hotel. If clients opt for a Deluxe Transfer, the assistant will attempt to request porterage from the hotel. Due to union rules, assistants are not allowed to handle luggage and in this instance, clients may have to transport luggage to the hotel entrance themselves.
Please note that on the following days in Venice in 2010 there will be transportation issues due to local events: June 6, July 17 and 18, and Sep 5 Standard Private Boat Transfers Standard arrival airport transfer includes porterage, transfer in comfortable minivan or taxi from airport to private boat, and transfer to the closest dock to the hotel.Standard arrival transfer from train station includes porterage and transfer by private boat to the closest dock to the hotel. Luggage transfer from arrival dock to the hotel is not included. Standard Departure transfer includes a greeting by an assistant in hotel lobby and transfer in a private boat to the airport or train station. Porterage is not included, although this service may be available for hire at the airport and train station. For airport departures, clients will need to make their way independently to the terminal.
Deluxe Private Boat Transfers Deluxe arrival transfers include an assistant upon arrival at the airport or train station to accompany guests to the private boat and coordinate porterage and ends with hotel check-in. Porterage included to airport, train station, and the Piazzale Roma dock in Venice. An assistant will secure a city porter for hotels without their own dock when possible. This service is paid to the porter directly.Deluxe departure transfers include an assistant from departure from hotel lobby, transfer by a private boat to the airport, train station,or port to the check-in area. For airport departures, clients will transfer to required terminal by private car or comfortable minivan. Porterage is included from dock in Venice to airport check-in counter or train track. An assistant will attempt to secure a city porter for hotels without their own dock. This service is paid to the porter directly. For departures by train, an assistant will take clients to appropriate platform while a porter arrives with luggage.
Venice Private Car Direct Transfers
Private Transfers from Venice With a Stop in Verona and optional wine tasting (8 to 10 hours) Upon arrival at Venice’s Piazzale Roma our expert driver will transfer you to the picturesque town of Verona. Built along the Adige River, it’s the famous setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliette, and is home to this spectacular Opera performed every year in the Roman amphitheater. Before arriving in Verona’s center, clients may opt for a tasting of local Valpolicella wines at a prestigious winery. After the vineyard, clients will proceed to Verona to eat authentic Veronese cuisine at the famous 12 Apostoli restaurant, which includes an aperitivo in its wine cellar that features historic Roman ruins and fascinating memorabilia. After lunch, you may choose to visit the historical center on your own or meet our charismatic guide to help navigate the city’s circuitous streets. Visit the Piazza Erbe, Church of San Zeno and Arena that dates to 30 AD. Whether a Shakespeare enthusiast or not, Juliette’s balcony shouldn’t be missed. After touring Verona, clients will proceed to their final destination.

Next, explore the artistic and creative personality of this beautiful city during a walk through the most noteworthy quarters, including a maze of hidden cobblestone streets and the area where locals once built their world-famous gondolas. Lastly, clients will proceed through the characteristic Zattere borough with its inviting promenade and home to a number of former palaces and churches. Three Islands Tour (4 hours) Depart in the comfort of a private boat with our expert guide to the famous Venetian islands, starting with Murano. The world’s top glassmakers have worked on the island since 1291, and clients will see masters of this craft at work, along with their most important historical pieces. The next stop is Burano, with its brightly painted houses which is world renowned for intricate lace making. Finally, proceed to Torcello to visit the island with the oldest cathedral in Venice, the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta which is a magnificent Byzantine-Italian cathedral dating to 639 AD housing ancient mosaics. The restaurant is closed every Tuesday Jewish Ghetto and Museum Tour Visit one of the most important Jewish ghettos and Synagogues in Europe located in Venice’s historical center. The former ghetto area is still the center of Venetian Jewish life. From the hotel, clients and their guide will proceed to the Canareggio neighborhood. The first stop is local Jewish bakery where clients can taste local specialties whose recipes have been passed down through generations. Then, after joining a resident expert from the Jewish community, proceed to the old ghetto to tour three of the area’s five synagogues along with the Jewish museum. Entry fees of approximately €8.50 per person apply. In the synagogues, other visitors are likely present. For a completely private opening, please add a €95 supplement. Venice Countryside Tours A Day in Verona by train (6 to 7 hours) Take a day trip from Venice to the romantic city of Verona,the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliette, and home to spectacular operas performed every year in the Roman Arena. The day’s travel begins by train from Venice to meet the local expert guide at Verona’s train station. Clients will then taxi to a prestigious winery housed in a 15th century villa to taste four wines, including the famous Amarone wine. La Rotonda’s interior is only visitable on Wednesdays. Padua and the Palladian Villas Just outside Venice, situated beautifully along the Bacchiglione River is the picturesque city of Padua. This city comprises a complex network of arcaded streets that open into a scenic piazza and has bridges flowing back and forth across the river, which was used as a moat in ancient times. It’s also where most of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew was set. Clients will spend the day touring this city and the famous Scrovegni Chapel. The chapel was originally attached to the Scrovegni family’s palace, and was frescoed by the master Giotto beginning in 1303. This beautiful artwork covers each wall to narrate events in the lives of the Virgin Mary and Christ. You can also visit the nearby St. Anthony Church and cloister. This special day also includes a visit to two nearby Palladian Villas that offer a unique look at extraordinary architecture.Chapel entry fees are €12 for adults and €5 for youths. This tour is not available Jan. 1, May 1, Dec. 25 or 26. The Wines of the Veneto Tour Clients will tour one of the town of Soave, still enclosed by its medieval walls. Surrounded by vineyards and topped with a castle, this town’s important buildings date to the Middle Ages. Alongside its history, the town is also recognized for producing a top Italian wine. Soave wine is a straw yellow color, almost green at times. It’s known for conveying delicate and light flavors with a gentile acidity. Legend has it that the famous Italian poet Dante gave soave wine its name, meaning smooth, in the 13th century. Dante or no, visitors will enjoy walking the city’s streets and tasting locally produced wine at a neighborhood cantina.This tour is not available on Sundays and holidays. Asolo, Bassano del Grappa and Villa Barbaro Enjoy a relaxing day in the countryside seeing the highlights of the towns in the Northern Veneto area including Asolo and Bassano del Grappa. Asolo is a tiny walled town lined with charming homes and has local artisans including a weaver making exquisite silks on ancient looms where you can see the works in progress. A stop for lunch can be made in the garden of the Locanda Cipriani hotel. Proceed to Bassano del Grappa at the base of the Mount Grappa famed for its bridge designed by famous architect Andrea Palladio, and the various gastronomic delights including the Italian after-dinner drink grappa. Stop in the Poli distillery Museum for a variety of grappa-inspired products and its museum tracing the history of this important liqueur. For guests with an interest in Grappa a guided tour of the Distillery can be arranged. Finish the day with a stop at the magnificent Villa Barbaro, designed by Palladio, to tour the interior rooms frescoed by Paolo Veronese. Did you know that your favorite racecars are viewable at the Ferrari and Lamborghini Galleries outside of Modena? Visit during your transfer through this area or during a special day tour and see the historic Ferrari’s and special exhibits contained in the interactive Gallery, and then proceed to the Lamborghini Factory for a guided tour of the Museum and Factory that can also include the VIP Option of lunch at the factory followed by a Lamborghini Test Drive.Entry fees € 13 adults, € 9 youths 6-10 yrs.
